Course Overview
Do you want flexibility to create tailored identity processes and not worry about maintaining custom code or scripts? With Okta Workflows you are able to modernize sophisticated identity-centric lifecycle management processes without code.
In this course, you will tackle common use cases associated with Okta Workflows and, at the same time, come to understand exactly how events, actions, and functions perform together in the Workflows console.
Some of the common use cases addressed within this course are:
- Automating identity tasks that extend beyond account creation and deletion such as taking granular actions during onboarding and offboarding.
- Triggering various tasks at specific times based on a certain context, for example granting conditional access or pausing certain processes.
- Extracting, combining, and formatting relevant data from APIs to perform actions not available “out of the box.”
- Troubleshooting and monitoring your flows and establishing some best practices when working the Workflows console.
By attending this course, you will gain the skills to:
- Define the benefits offered by Okta Workflows.
- Identify the key elements involved in a flow.
- Understand the role of inputs and outputs and how they are mapped between different steps in your Flows.
- Set up a Connection.
