Learn how these key elements unlock hundreds of use cases related to lifecycle management, security, and customer identity.
- Identify the types of events available in the Workflows Console and understand when to use each of them.
- Introduce app actions and understand the myriad of options when using third party applications in a flow.
- Understand how functions can change or control the data in your flow.
- Use Note cards throughout your flows.
- Identify the various authentication types when configuring a Connector.
- Create multiple connections for the same application in different environments such as test, staging, or production.

You will soon be configuring connections, constructing flows, and reviewing any pre-built templates that might address any of your organization’s use cases.
- Differentiate between the many types of enablement resources offered on the Workflows home page.
- Visit the three main tabs on the home page: Flows, Connections, and Templates.
- Understand how to add a template to your Okta org.
- Recognize the multiple manners in which you can construct a workflow to produce the same result.
- Identify the connectors needed for the flow as well any transformation of data needed as it passes through the flow.
- Find a flow building process that works for you. Either begin with the end in mind or work backwards from your desired solution.
