General Event Information

It’s the biggest Identity conference of the year, and it takes place in person and online. It gives attendees the chance to connect with the best in the industry, hear how organizations are putting Identity first, see new products, and more. Join us this October for an epic celebration of customer success — plus lots of learning, connecting, and giving back.

Oktane will be in Las Vegas, NV at Caesars Forum (3911 S Koval Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89109).

Yes, we're bringing back Oktane Online with exclusive online-only content, deep-dive sessions, live moments from Oktane in Las Vegas, and opportunities to connect with experts in real time. Please check back soon, we will be announcing more details as we get closer to the event date.

The official language of the event is English, and all general sessions, breakout sessions, and hands-on labs will be presented in English.

Casual to business dress is appropriate. We do recommend dressing in layers as temperatures can vary.

You must be at least 21 years of age to attend Oktane in Las Vegas.

Yes, you can purchase a guest party pass for $100, but it can only be purchased by someone with a full conference pass. All party attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

GOVERNMENT/MILITARY/EDUCATION:
We offer a 20% discount for government, military, and educational institutions. You must register with your .mil, .gov, or .edu email address to qualify.

NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:
Okta is proud to offer complimentary conference passes for non-profit organizations. Limit five per organization. You must be a current Okta customer or have an account manager, and register with your .org email address to qualify.

You may qualify for a discount depending on your company’s support level with Okta. Reach out to your CSM or account rep for more info.

During registration, you have the option to select the Full Conference Group Pass package at the discounted rate of 10% for 3-5 passes or 25% for 6-10. Once you have purchased your group passes, you will have the ability to manage your passes with your account Portal. All Group Pass attendees purchased through this discounted package must be employed by the same organization.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY:
Substitutions may be requested by sending an email to the Oktane team at oktane@launchinc.com with the names of both the original and the substitute registrants. All requests for substitutions must be received no later than October 11, 2024 at 5:00pm (PT). On-site substitutions will incur a $100 processing fee.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION CANCELLATION:
Cancellations must be received in writing before Friday, September 13, 2024 at 11:59 p.m (PT) to be eligible for a refund, and there will be a $100.00 (USD) processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 11:59 PM (PT) on Friday, September 13, 2024.

GUEST PASS CANCELLATION:
Cancellations must be received in writing before Friday, September 13, 2024 at by 11:59 p.m (PT) to be eligible for a refund, and there will be a $50.00 (USD) processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 11:59 PM (PT) on Friday, September 13, 2024.

CERTIFICATION PASS CANCELLATION:
Cancellations must be received in writing before Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:59 p.m (PT) to be eligible for a refund, and there will be a $100.00 (USD) processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 11:59 PM (PT) on October 11, 2024.

When registering, you may pay by credit card. Payment must be received in order to print a badge onsite.

No, there's no deadline. As long as there are still tickets available, you can register online through the last day of the event.

Sessions and Speakers

The Oktane agenda builder is scheduled to release in September. The agenda builder provides a comprehensive list of breakout sessions, hands-on labs, and other sessions. Once live, an email will be sent to registrants with additional information. You will also be able to add sessions to your agenda via the Oktane mobile app once it launches.

Some sessions will be available online after the event. However, certain speakers and sessions will only be available during the event, so we recommend attending live for maximum engagement.

Yes, Oktane is an official (ISC)2® CPE submitter. Attendees will be required to provide their (ISC)2® member number during registration and Okta will submit names directly to CPE.

CPE credits are earned for participating in educational or other activities, such as attending conferences, where members gain knowledge and skills that would benefit them to grow within their chosen profession.

No, we only submit to (ISC)2® for credits. For any other organizations please find your attendance certificate in your portal after the event or reach out to oktane@okta.com.

Yes. You will need a full conference pass to register for certifications. Okta Certification is offering the opportunity to take up to three certification exams for the price of $399 ($349 Early Bird Registration). There will be five time blocks to choose from, and attendees will need to select the exams they would like to take during registration. As an added bonus, if you pass all three exams at Oktane, you will get a voucher to take a fourth exam for free, after Oktane.

Okta Certification exams are open to both customers and partners who have a full conference pass and have never earned an Okta Certification, as well as those who have an existing Okta Certification(s) and would like to level up by taking the next level certification (e.g., Administrator or Consultant), by taking a certification in a different area (e.g., Developer - Customer Identity Cloud), and/or by taking a Specialty certification (e.g., Okta Workflows or Okta Access Gateway).

While Okta exams will still be available online during the week of Oktane, the opportunity to take up to three certification exams for one flat fee will not be available online.

Attendees who register to take exams at Oktane will receive free access to each exam’s premier practice exam. In addition to premier practice exams, Okta Certification also offers a catalog of standard practice exams for free.

Two Okta Certification exams have prerequisites: the Okta Certified Administrator Hands-On Configuration Exam and the Okta Certified Consultant Hands-On Configuration Exam. In order to take the Okta Certified Administrator Hands-On Configuration Exam, you must hold a valid Okta Professional Certification. In order to take the Okta Certified Consultant Hands-On Configuration Exam, you must hold a valid Okta Administrator Certification.

Housing

We have negotiated discounted rates at Harrah’s ($189 + taxes and fees) and at Caesars ($209 + taxes and fees). Once you're registered, more information will be provided on how to book in our negotiated room block.

When you register online for Oktane, you will have an opportunity to request a room in the Okane hotel block and provide your check-in and check-out dates. A hotel reservation will then be made for you and guaranteed with your credit card. You are also free to make your own reservations directly with the hotel of your choice, if you would like to book outside of the Oktane hotel block.

Yes, a credit card will be needed to confirm your reservation through the Oktane booking process.

Attendee Services

Sustainability is at the heart of Oktane — we’re hosting this year's event at Caesars Forum, which is a LEED Silver certified venue. Throughout the event, Oktane will promote donations to nonprofits, in place of physical swag, to help eliminate waste. Oktane will use 100% compostable F&B items, and we encourage attendees to bring their own water bottle to the event. We also encourage attendees to utilize low carbon and alternative transportation traveling to Oktane.

Yes, there will be select on-site food and beverage options. Please check back soon for more information.

Okta will make an effort to provide meals that accommodate attendees with a variety of dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, or kosher). During the registration process, you will be asked to identify what your needs are. We will make every effort to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee to fulfill every request. When you arrive at the meal area, please let a server know and they will review the available meal options.

We are committed to ensuring Oktane is a healthy and safe environment for all attendees. Over the coming months, we will continue to monitor and adhere to government, venue, and health agency guidelines and recommendations.

Event Access

There are a few countries that require a visa for entry. We recommend checking in advance with your country's local US consulate for details and requirements.

You will be asked during registration if you need an invitation letter. If you are requesting one, you will email POPs@okta.com with the required information below and the team will provide next steps.

Yes, an event badge is required for entry and should be worn at all times. You'll be able to pick up your badge at the Oktane registration desk during open registration hours. For security purposes, be prepared to show identification. If you lose your badge, you may show Photo ID and have it reprinted at a registration assistance desk for a fee.

Okta follows local health and safety guidelines. At this time, vaccinations are not required to attend an event at Caesars Forum.

Oktane Online

Oktane Online registration will open in August.

Oktane Online is for anyone, from anywhere, and includes access to the Okta keynotes, product and industry sessions, global content, customer success content, select partner sessions, access to Okta product experts, and on-demand content post-event.

Oktane Online is free to attend.
