Automating workflows with a unified Identity platform
Bloomerang implemented Okta WIC to centralize and automate its IAM processes. Now, the company uses Single Sign-On to give employees access to multiple applications with a single set of credentials, reducing security risks and improving productivity, and Multi-Factor Authentication to further enhance security and prevent unauthorized access. Meanwhile, Okta Lifecycle Management automates user provisioning and deprovisioning, reducing administrative overhead for Bloomerang’s IT team.
The company has integrated more than 119 applications with Okta WIC, including Salesforce, Google Workspace, and other internal systems, providing a unified IAM experience across its tech stack. With Okta Workflows, the company can automate routine tasks, such as password resets and user onboarding, to further free up IT resources. For example, the team built a Slackbot integration with Workflows to enable employees to seamlessly unlock their accounts or reset their passwords, resulting in up to 80% ticket deflection for password resets per month.
