Team / Role Description: 

The Okta Security team’s mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity provider through identifying and resolving risks to the employees, product, and most importantly, our customers. With the ever-increasing pace of cloud application adoption, companies are struggling to find ways to accurately assess risk and act at the speed of their business.

 

The Analyst of Okta’s Security Transformation Office will support Security Leadership in developing and implementing the organization’s information security framework and managing risks to protect corporate data and assets. This role includes overseeing program planning, coordinating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with security practices.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a clear vision and strategic direction for the Security Transformation Office.
  • Drive the development of a multi-year Security Transformation program roadmap and governance by defining the program plan, key milestones, team leads and success metrics to support program targets
  • Effectively communicate program status, risks, and resource needs to leadership, rapidly identifying issues / risks and escalating as necessary. 
  • Succinctly communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution
  • Build strong partnerships with business units and other corporate support functions by facilitating stakeholder alignment sessions across a diverse set of groups / organizations
  • Drive quarterly program and risk management performance recapping and tying results back to the NIST CSF maturity score methodology
  • Provide data driven actionable insights to teams and business leaders

 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 4+ years of consulting and / or industry experience with a background in strategy / management consulting or business operations. 
  • Proficient in programmatic data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python)
  • Practical expertise in enterprise software / B2B SaaS industry. Previous high-growth operations or startup experience is highly desired. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional operational and strategic initiatives. Exposure to delivering cybersecurity projects is a major plus.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization. Able to convey complex ideas in a strategic and concise fashion.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a portfolio of assignments and drive complex strategic projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:$141,000$211,000 CAD
