Senior Data Quality Analyst
Location: [Bengaluru]

Summary

Detail-oriented and results-driven Data Quality Lead with an extensive background in managing a team while improving data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in our CRM (Salesforce).  Adept at identifying data quality issues, developing processes to clean and maintain data, and providing actionable insights to enhance the overall customer data management strategy. Proficient in data governance, data profiling, and leveraging tools to ensure optimal data integrity for business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Overseeing a local regional team, ensuring processes are followed, being the first point of contact.
  • Data Enrichment: Regularly audit and clean account data and hierarchies within Salesforce to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Data Quality Monitoring: Deduplication, and reporting.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data management practices align with internal policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and raise data quality issues regarding processes and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and regional teams, seeing to resolution
  • Reporting: Create and modify reports to suit personal and field needs.
  • Ticketing Systems & Support: Provide guidance to end-users with data entry, account creation, and general requests.

Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor’s at minimum with 5+ yrs of experience
  • Data Manipulation: Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Data Obligations (Company & Legal level): Understanding of GDPR, Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC)

Experience

  • Team management, ensuring SLAs are met, and all requests are met to resolution
  • Worked on data quality improvement initiatives for Salesforce, improving data accuracy
  • Conducted regular data audits to identify duplicates, missing information, and other discrepancies, implementing corrective actions
  • Created reports in Salesforce to flag potential data issues in real-time

  • Taking point and delegating tasks, divided amongst team
  • Managing large datasets to prepare for analytics & upload
  • Working with cross-functional teams to implement or transform data to increase system integrity.
  • Developing dashboards and reports to track key data quality metrics which can be actioned on
  • Running regular data audits to identify duplicates, missing information, and other discrepancies, implementing corrective actions
  • Consistently adheres to company policies and maintains a high standard of professionalism, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask between ad-hoc requests and daily commitments

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Creative and proactive in developing solutions to data-related problems and improving data quality processes.
  • Process Documentation: Ability to document processes, guidelines, and best practices for maintaining data integrity.

  • Data Querying: Salesforce Reporting
  • Data Quality Tools: DemandTools, Dataloader, SalesforceInspector
  • Data Enrichment Tools: Dun & Bradstreet, HG Insights, Zoominfo, 6sense

Preferred Skills: Optional

  • Data Visualization: Tableau, Anaplan
  • Data Querying: SQL / SOQL

Certifications (Optional)

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Data Architect.
