Whats the Opportunity?

Okta Customer Identity Cloud (CIC), powered by Auth0, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our innovative SDK Components team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our authentication SDKs and expanding our portfolio of developer tools. You'll work in a distributed, diverse team alongside designers, engineers, and product managers to create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional components that help customers build high-quality interfaces efficiently. This position offers a unique chance to influence CIC's identity solutions and enhance the developer experience, contributing directly to Okta's mission of freeing everyone to safely use any technology.

You Will:

Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies for SDK components and developer tools that align with Okta's business objectives and market needs.
Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to prioritize UX improvements, facilitate design discussions, and provide feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.
Build a deep understanding of core customers and their needs, working with the Research team to conduct studies and communicate insights to the team.
Transform challenging workflows into simple, usable, and elegant experiences for developers, ensuring our components and tools are intuitive and efficient.
Contribute to and maintain the design system for SDK components, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
Create and communicate clear product requirements and specifications to the engineering and design teams.
Define key success metrics for developer and customer engagement with our products, working closely with data engineering teams to ensure accurate and relevant KPI tracking.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful launches and adoption of our products.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations in the identity and access management space.
Iterate on solutions based on direct and indirect stakeholder feedback, sharing work early and often to seek constructive input.
Work with designers and product managers across other teams to maintain consistency, improve quality, and contribute to team processes and principles.
Produce clear and comprehensive product documentation to support development and facilitate communication across teams.

What You Bring:

Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience, specifically in Platform Development and/or Developer Tools like SDKs, APIs, and CLIs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field; or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience independently leading and delivering on key product capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in B2B SaaS environments, including product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Passion for the potential and growth opportunities in the identity and access management sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Enterprise SaaS customers.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management products.
Coding experience in various languages and frameworks.
