Position Description:

We are seeking a strategic, customer-focused Senior Director of Product Management with a strong background in technology to lead our CIAM product portfolio for B2B SaaS Identity. In this role, you will define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product roadmap, helping B2B SaaS companies manage authentication, authorization, directory provisioning, and enterprise federation at scale.

Reporting to the VP of Product, you will work cross-functionally with product architecture, engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and sales to ensure our identity solutions meet the evolving needs of modern B2B SaaS companies. You will also lead and mentor a team of product managers and act as a thought leader internally and externally on all things B2B SaaS Identity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the CIAM product strategy for B2B SaaS companies, aligned with Okta’s vision, market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
  • Maintain and evangelize the product roadmap internally and externally, carving out differentiating features for multi-tenancy support, authorization, enterprise identity federation, directory services, and delegated administration.
  • Drive cross-functional execution of that roadmap by partnering with leaders in product architecture, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver features that help B2B SaaS companies land and manage enterprise customers.
  • Mentor and manage a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
  • Engage deeply with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to gather insights, validate problems, and shape solutions.
  • Track product performance and market trends, and adjust strategy as needed to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.
  • Represent Auth0 & Okta externally as a subject matter expert at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in B2B SaaS.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing product teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), including authentication, authorization, directory provisioning, and enterprise federation.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of driving product vision and roadmaps from concept to delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Thinks big and small; can assemble a vision and the strategy/tactics to get there
  • Experience working with Fortune 100 enterprise customers to translate complex needs into elegant product solutions.
  • Budget up to 10% of the time for customer visits, conferences, team offsites, and strategic planning sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developer-focused platforms, CI/CD tools and APIs.
  • Passion for digital identity and its role in the future of B2B software.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tooling to improve customer outcomes and streamline product management processes

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$256,000$384,000 USD
