San Francisco, CA

Get to know Okta

Okta is The World’s Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology—anywhere, on any device or app. Our Workforce and Customer Identity Clouds enable secure yet flexible access, authentication, and automation that transforms how people move through the digital world, putting Identity at the heart of business security and growth.

At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.

Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.

We are looking for a self-starter, customer obsessed, curious, and empathetic product manager  who enjoys discovering the customer requirements, innovating on their behalf, and developing experiences that raise the bar for security. You will be part of the core access management team that is responsible for Okta’s Single Sign On and Multifactor offerings used by almost all of our customers. You will be the voice of the customer and responsible for driving a product roadmap that focuses on helping customers achieve end to end phishing resistance. You will have the responsibility of inventing on behalf of our customers and advocating for their needs throughout design, build, and launch. This position has a high level of visibility, so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company.

A day in the life of this Product Manager

On a daily basis, you'll have a chance to work with everyone who makes access management successful, including senior leadership, engineers, business and sales experts, marketing, advocates, data scientists, content writers, and more. You will meet with customers to understand our core strengths and weaknesses. You will synthesize that feedback and other industry knowledge, with business and service data, to create strategies and test hypotheses. As someone central to the success of Okta’s access management, people will look to you on a regular basis to solve problems and help the broader customer base. To develop that expertise, you'll constantly be looking to learn by reaching out to other experts within Okta. Our customer personas are Okta administrations  and technical decision makers, so you will be using technical documentation, product demos, to understand problems and communicate solutions.
