The Marketing Automation Specialist - xDR Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Automation, this role will support and execute xDR programs globally. In this role you will work with global xDR Program Managers and regional Marketing Automation Specialists to align and scale inbound and outbound motions globally within our tech stack.

As a member of Okta’s Global Marketing Automation team, you’ll help drive integrated marketing automation best practices throughout multiple types of marketing campaigns, sales plays, and determine personalization and automation strategies. 

You will work closely with regional marketers as well as business and sales development teams by utilizing our martech stack, like Outreach, Drift, 6sense, SFDC, and others to streamline marketing efforts and make them more effective.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong passion for generating processes, a data-driven approach and desire to do things at scale. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across sales and marketing teams. You should be comfortable with handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing accordingly to contribute to ambitious growth plans. If you are organized, analytical, and data driven, with an interest to work in complex marketing/sales and product databases, this is a great role for you.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Working closely with regional marketing teams and xDR program teams to deliver highly effective and scalable inbound and outbound programs. 
  • Collaborating with various internal stakeholders to design, execute and measure/test Outreach sequences, templates, snippets, automation, and reporting globally.
  • Monitor Outreach sequence strategy and its effectiveness, with a strong attention to detail and analytical focus required.
  • Update Outreach sequence and automation workflows as changes to business requirements dictate.
  • Support marketing and xDR teams in analyzing and reporting performance data to help shape future strategy.
  • Incorporate utilization of and programs for additional xDR processes and tools, such as 6sense, Drift, and more
  • Build custom Salesforce campaigns and reports to guide and advise program or sequence performance.
  • Identify areas of optimization and automation for utilization within our xDR and marketing stack.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Awareness and/or subject matter expertise in xDR inbound and outbound best practices
  • 4+ years experience in Marketing Automation,  xDR/sales, Operations or similar
  • Proficiency in Outreach, Salesforce
  • Experience in software/technology, such as 6sense, Folloze, Drift or similar
  • Experience with troubleshooting systems, processes, and data issues
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Strong project management skills are required with the ability to connect the dots across teams
  • Creative thinker who has the ability to communicate and bring new ideas to the table
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$77,000$115,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $86,000$130,000 USD
