ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a strategic thinker and results-driven leader to join our dynamic team as the Director of Marketing Automation. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a next-generation omni-channel nurture strategy that leverages the latest industry trends and best practices to effectively engage our audiences. You will lead the transformation and evolution of our campaign architecture and operations, ensuring that they align with our overall business objectives and maximize our marketing impact. You will develop user-friendly self-service capabilities for internal users, empowering them to efficiently harness our marketing automation tools. And you will drive a best-in-class sales outreach program, aimed at improving conversion quality and funnel efficiency. This is a critical leadership role, tasked with helping elevate our marketing efforts and contributing to the growth of our global organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end marketing automation strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all digital channels.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns and workflows within the marketing automation platform to support various business goals and objectives, while ensuring maximum impact and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Marketing Operations, and Customer First to align marketing automation initiatives with overall company objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience journey.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure the performance of marketing automation activities, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization and innovation.
- Develop and maintain documentation on marketing automation processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and run ongoing enablement sessions across marketing teams.
- Stay informed about the latest marketing automation technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend and implement new tools and processes that enhance our automation capabilities and drive business results.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to direct reports and the broader marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in marketing automation and campaign operations.
- Manage the budget, vendors, and contractors related to marketing automation activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to support strategic initiatives and deliver a strong return on investment.
YOU WOULD BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a marketing automation role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful marketing automation strategies that have significantly improved campaign performance, user engagement, and customer retention.
- Extensive experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, Eloqua) and CRM systems, including a strong understanding of system setups, integrations, and utilization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights to drive automation improvements and innovation.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
- Knowledge of current marketing trends, best practices, and technologies in the automation space, with a focus on the B2B SaaS landscape.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a passion for driving innovation in marketing automation and operations.

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
