 Senior Talent Program Manager
The Talent Management team at Okta is responsible for supporting leaders to assess and segment their talent so they can reward high performance and drive team development. In this role, the Senior Talent Program Manager will oversee the ongoing performance cycle, calibrations, talent planning, and feedback processes. Additionally, you’ll help build Okta’s high-performance culture by connecting performance management and development through data and program design. You’ll work closely with the Talent Management leader and key stakeholders across the People & Places organization to provide expertise in program design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end execution of performance check-ins, goal setting, talent planning, and feedback programs.
  • Contribute to the development of additional talent management and development solutions aligned with the Talent Ecosystem roadmap, ensuring cultural and business rhythm alignment.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of programs by creating clear and effective communication and enablement plans for employees.
  • Provide expertise to internal clients on talent management solutions and industry best practices, offering data-driven recommendations based on company policies and applicable laws.
  • Design and implement talent management tools and methodologies to enhance evaluation, decision-making, and talent management processes.
  • Continuously improve processes, delivering enhanced user experiences in short sprints.
  • Analyze reporting and data to identify program impact, trends, and insights, informing future iterations.
  • Leverage external best practices to increase program efficiency.

Key Relationships:

  • Collaborate with People Business Partners, HRIS teams, Project Management, Communications, Learning & Development, and Compensation to create and sustain comprehensive talent programs.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across global teams, managing diverse personalities and functional areas.
  • Manage competing stakeholder demands, driving alignment across teams.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for leadership and teammates, ensuring stakeholders are updated on project timelines, milestones, and changes.
  • Cultivate an inclusive environment by promoting diverse perspectives and ideas.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of talent management experience, including significant experience in designing and implementing talent programs (e.g., performance and talent assessments).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and taking steps to address them.
  • Adaptable to evolving program needs, iterating on talent programs as required.
  • Ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to apply solutions in a practical, actionable way.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$156,000$234,000 USD
