Analyst,  M&A Integration & Strategic Programs Opportunity

Okta’s Corporate Development team plays a critical role in enabling Okta’s growth through the thoughtful ideation and execution of corporate strategy, M&A, technology partnerships, external investments, and strategic programs. Sitting underneath the Corporate Development umbrella, our M&A Integration & Strategic Programs team is responsible for end-to-end incubation, governance and execution of Okta’s most strategic, multi-year cross-functional programs and acquisition integrations.

As an Analyst, M&A Integration & Strategic Programs, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of Okta’s highest priority transformational programs and successful acquisition integrations in close collaboration with functional stakeholders across the organization. In this role you will focus primarily on the project management of multiple complex workstreams on a given deal/program. In this capacity, you will assist our workstream and integration leads in driving progress against plans, preparing briefings for the team and proactively raising issues with management as they arise. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of project managing complex cross-functional projects while maintaining an efficient plan, tracking issues, and proactively communicating progress against project milestones. This person will also need to be adept at building close working relationships and quickly establishing personal credibility across an organization. 

This role is remote in the US but preference is given to candidates who live in the vicinity of one of our US offices: Bellevue, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Washington (DC). 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Support end-to-end program management  and roadmap development for in-flight programs and integrations
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment across various workstreams impacting various functions 
  • Coordinate + assist in driving cross-functional meetings. Document + communicate decisions / actions and follow ups with key leaders
  • Rapidly identify issues / risks and escalate to leadership as necessary. Succinctly communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution
  • Create high-impact collateral to showcase progress updates and drive alignment across program stakeholders
  • Drive documentation of best practices, playbooks, and process improvements with functional leads
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 2-4+ years of consulting and/or industry experience with a background in business operations, project/program management or corporate development. Practical expertise in enterprise software / SaaS industry a plus
  • Demonstrated experience designing & supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Track record of building trusted relationships & influencing others across functions
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter who can multitask and thrive in fast-paced / ambiguous environments
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts across a wide variety of technologies and domains
  • Collaborative team player who is also an independent thinker
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$90,000$149,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $111,000$167,000 USD
