The Staff Product Analyst, Risk Opportunity
If you’re a detail-oriented professional passionate about bridging the gap between compliance, security, and technical solutions, this role is for you. As a Staff Product Analyst, Risk, you’ll be the cornerstone of innovation and security within our Business Technology Engineering Services team, helping us protect our rapidly growing user base while enabling seamless service delivery.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and risk management, enjoys crafting data-driven solutions, and excels at collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your work will directly contribute to Okta’s ability to meet compliance standards, enhance service processes, and maintain the highest levels of platform security and availability.
What you’ll be doing
- Be the Connector: Act as the bridge between Security, Compliance, and Business Technology teams to ensure seamless audit and vulnerability management processes.
- Drive Compliance Excellence: Gather requirements from Federal and Commercial teams to maintain compliance for inboundary systems, including FedRAMP and other frameworks.
- Enhance Processes: Continuously improve and support operational solutions such as Kanban workflows and audit evidence management.
- Ensure Robust Security: Partner with the core team to safeguard system environments, ensuring top-tier availability, security, and quality.
- Leverage Data: Quantify risks, deliver actionable recommendations, and use data to drive measurable improvements.
- Shape Security Strategies: Design and execute security strategies aligned with Okta’s business goals, market trends, and industry standards.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance Experience: 4+ years of experience, with 2+ years supporting FedRAMP or federal compliance efforts preferred.
- Technical Know-How: 6+ years of experience supporting systems in IT environments, with advanced expertise in Kanban, NIST security guidelines (SP-800 series), and IT audit processes.
- Systems Integration Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to integrate third-party applications and leverage hands-on design, prototyping, development, and testing.
- Data-Driven Results: Proven success in delivering measurable outcomes from implemented products, features, or capabilities.
- Agile Mindset: Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum lifecycle management to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
- Educational Foundation: A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) is required; an advanced degree is a plus.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$151,000—$227,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as an Full-Time Okta employee!
