The Financial Technology Team
The Financial Technology team is part of the Business Technology (BT) team at Okta. We are an international team of professionals whose primary focus is supporting the Okta Finance team by streamlining and accelerating their day-to-day operations. Most importantly, we play a key role in driving Okta’s growth and ensuring the company's financial systems remain robust and well-maintained.
The Order to Cash OpportunityOkta is seeking a Manager, Order to Cash (OTC) Finance Technology to join our Business Technology Organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the Finance Technology Delivery team, ensuring a seamless and efficient end-user experience. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple departments and global locations, working closely with teams in Finance, IT, Engineering, GTM, and International Operations. Your responsibilities will include optimizing internal processes, enhancing best practices, and developing innovative solutions to address both business processes and technical challenges. What you’ll be doing- As a manager, you will lead a globally distributed team of business analysts and engineers, delivering E2E solutions, including Enhancements, Integrations, Customizations and others.
- You will evaluate potential new applications and solutions against business requirements, ensuring they are aligned with broader architectural and security standards and meet tactical and strategic objectives.
- You will collaborate with a broad set of Businesses, BT partners, and vendors. Use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, out-of-the-box thinking, and a bit of elbow grease to build holistic solutions that meet business and technology objectives while furthering Okta’s long-range goals.
- Leverage your hands-on experience on ERPs such as Netsuite, Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP and your functional and technical knowledge in Order Management, Billing, Payment, collection, and Cash & Treasury Management GL reconciliation.
- Able to guide the team on Design, Build, Test, and deploying solutions within Order to Cash(OTC) business processes and applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for day-to-day production issues within the ERP and peripheral systems.
- Collaborate with BT and Business teams to identify system enhancements, integrations, and process automation opportunities.
- Contribute to our overall SDLC processes across business and BT while improving the health of the existing Netsuite application.
- Proactively understand business pain points and propose solutions that are scalable and efficient.
What you’ll bring to the role
- 10+ years of professional experience architecting, leading, and delivering business solutions in OTC and RTR areas of NetSuite or Oracle Fusion Cloud, or SAP S4/HANA ERPs.
- Should have been a people manager for 2+ years and managed a team of engineers and analysts.
- Hands-on expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including Sales Orders, Revenue, Delivery, Billing(Subscription and Consumption), Pricing, Returns, refunds, credit memos, and debit memo and collection processes in the HiTech or Software Industry.
- Have implemented or supported revenue recognition processes and tools such as RevPro, or Oracle Fusion Cloud Revenue, or SAP RAR module.
- Experienced in integrating with multiple SaaS applications and systems including SFDC, Coupa, AnaPlan, Xactly, Workday, Stripe, Avalara/Vertex, RevPro, Banks, SnowFlake, and EDI.
- Ability to balance multiple simultaneous tasks/projects, providing a proven record of all activities while handling confidential work with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and strong business acumen skills working in an agile environment (scrum practices, JIRA etc).
- Exposure to other finance business process areas, including P2P, RTR, Tax, and Treasury, is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent years of industry experience.
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
- NetSuite Administration or ERP consultant certification is an advantage.
- Certification in ERPs such as Oracle Fusion or SAP is a plus.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $170,000—$254,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as a Full-Time Okta employee!
