Venu Shastri is a Group Product Marketing Manager at Okta, focusing on competitive strategies and positioning. He brings over 20 years of experience in building products and solutions in the enterprise space with expertise in cloud security and IAM technologies. Before joining Okta, he drove product management and hybrid strategy at Oracle, followed by a brief stint at Accenture Security. Venu started his career in consulting, dabbling in a few different technologies before getting into the IAM space. He also co-founded and drove product management for an enterprise social software start-up. He completed his MBA from the University of Santa Clara and is doing an executive program at MIT. Venu lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and two kids and loves to hit nature trails on weekends.
