George Wong

George Wong joined Okta in 2018 and is the Director of Technology Programs. In this role, he implemented a new Engineering communications program to provide transparency and enablement so partner teams in Customer First, Sales Enablement, and Marketing can talk about the great innovations happening at Okta. George is also responsible for driving and delivering key events in the Technology organization, like the hackathon!

Prior to joining Okta, he worked for Applied Materials, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle in design and management roles. George holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley (Go Bears!). He lives in San Francisco and enjoys exploring all the Bay Area has to offer.
