The pinnacle of Identity expertise: Okta Certified Technical Architect
The title of Okta Certified Technical Architect is Okta’s highest-level certification. Introduced in 2022, only 38 experts worldwide hold this prestigious title. To achieve this certification, one must first meet a prerequisite of four technical certifications: Okta Certified Professional, Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Consultant, and Okta Certified Developer (Workforce Identity Cloud) credentials. In addition to these prerequisites, candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience working as an Identity Architect, interpreting business needs and designing scalable Identity and Access Management solutions.
Candidates for the Okta Certified Technical Architect certification must complete an application process to qualify for the exam. Once approved, candidates must pass a thorough final certification exam that consists of reviewing a fictitious customer use case, designing a solution, and presenting and defending that solution before a panel of tenured cybersecurity experts possessing decades of Identity and industry experience.
Elevating Identity standards globally
Okta’s Certified Technical Architects represent the pinnacle of Identity knowledge and skills. These individuals have extensive experience and undergo comprehensive examination, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex Identity systems, security best practices, and the ability to design and implement robust Identity solutions. The certification process identifies and validates the industry’s top talent, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of Identity expertise.
