It’s here: Okta Launch Week July ‘24

Okta’s inaugural Launch Week is here! We have lots of activities lined up to showcase our new Customer and Workforce Identity capabilities — all with the goal of making it easier for you to realize the most value possible. We know Identity is vital to your security stack, but remaining secure is a constant struggle. This Launch Week, we’ve doubled down on supporting your cybersecurity goals with our newly released offerings, so let’s dive in.

Our most-anticipated launches

We’re the most excited about the following product and feature launches, which we’ve divided between Okta Workforce and Customer Identity Clouds.

Okta Workforce Identity Cloud

Identity Security Posture Management — Generally Available

Enterprises lack the appropriate visibility into their Identity security posture to confidently mitigate and remediate new risks, and attackers are taking advantage. Identity Security Posture Management empowers customers to take control of their Identity sprawl and harden their Identity security posture through Identity-focused risk analysis and prioritized insights that help drive remediation.

"Identity has become the key to modern security. Controlling the Identity sprawl while enabling business is a challenge that legacy solutions could not resolve. Identity Security Posture Management uniquely provides us with ongoing visibility and reduces Identity risks with a quick time-to-value and a data-driven approach." — Matthew Sharp, CISO at Xactly

Identity Threat Protection with Okta AI — Early Access

Attackers are exploiting Identity vulnerabilities at every stage of the user journey, including post-authentication. These attacks can start anywhere in the IT ecosystem, from endpoints to applications, and then move laterally to compromise Identity, evading traditional security controls. Powered by Okta AI and insights from across an organization's security stack, Identity Threat Protection continuously detects and responds to identity threats both during and post-authentication, amplifies security signal sharing, and orchestrates remediation actions to support Identity threat detection and response (ITDR) strategies.

Workflows —  Audit-ready for FedRAMP High Authorization

The rapid digitization of public services over the past decade has produced complicated tech stacks whose benefits are outweighed by the inconvenience they build into essential functions. Okta’s modern, Identity-centric automation platform, Workflows, offers Federal teams low- and no-code options for building and managing complex functions, maintaining compliance standards, and improving experience management. Available for all eligible customers.

Okta Customer Identity Cloud

Highly Regulated Identity — Generally Available

Sensitive interactions such as money transfers, updating account information, admin or security settings, or accessing sensitive data require heightened security and privacy measures. These activities are particularly vulnerable to fraud and are often subject to strict regulations. Highly Regulated Identity delivers Financial-Grade Identity™ with elevated security, privacy, and UX controls for sensitive customer operations beyond login.

Forms for Actions — Early Access

Frictionless sign-up and login experiences are crucial for winning over customers and staying competitive. Businesses need tools that ensure operations are efficient and secure, help drive customer retention and growth, can adjust to their unique security needs, and unify and activate data across multiple apps and systems. Forms for Actions is a new feature of Okta’s Actions extensibility platform that provides developers and UX teams with a no-code visual editor to easily and quickly build forms to customize the login and sign-up experience.
