Best practices + networking: All about Okta Forums from kCura’s Chris Sanchez
The Okta team is on the road this spring with our Okta Forums! On March 28th, we’re headed to Chicago where hundreds of IT leaders will join Okta for an interactive day of learning, product demos and networking. Among the attendees, we’re delighted to have the kCura team join us for another Forum. We sat down with Chris Sanchez, developer operations systems administrator from kCura to learn more about their journey with Okta and what he’s looking forward to most at our upcoming Forums.
Learn more below and don’t miss the chance to hear directly from kCura on stage as Rob Fischer, senior IT manager will take the stage to share how Okta helps solve kCura’s mobility challenges.
Tell us about how you use Okta. Managing access to company infrastructure and data can be a full-time job for any systems administrator. Luckily, some of us have a tool like Okta to help in the battle known as identity management. We have 254 applications integrated into our Okta portal, we reduced the number of Active Directory accounts created manually by 90% and we’ve achieved 225% ROI in two years. Today we use the full breadth of Okta’s Enterprise IT solution to automate onboarding and offboarding, enable a mobile workforce, increase IT efficiencies and improve security.
You’re doing a lot with Okta! How does attending a Forum contribute to that success? Whether you’re already an Okta customer or you’re looking to learn more about how to implement best-of-breed technologies with an identity solution, the Okta Forums are helpful, free, one-day events that allow you to network with hundreds of IT pros and hear from Okta experts. These events are the best way to gain insight into Okta’s products and roadmap, and meet other members of the IT community to learn how they’re thinking about cloud solutions.
What stands out about these different events? I’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to attend Oktane the past two years, once as an attendee and once as a speaker, and have been to numerous Okta user groups in Chicago. No matter what the occasion, I enjoy spending this time with other stand-out IT professionals, getting visibility into where Okta’s headed and of course, the great swag.
What are you looking forward to most at the Okta Forums? I’ll be at the Chicago Forum on March 28th with my team. I’m looking forward to hearing from our senior IT manager Rob Fischer, who will be joining the session “Enabling an Enterprise Mobility Solution” and sharing how our team enables easy and efficient mobility tools for end users.
At kCura, we have offices on multiple continents and remote workers all over the world so I’m also excited to hear from JLL’s Benjamin Hernandez on “Creating a Digital Identity without Borders”.
I hope to see you at the Forum on the 28th, and maybe we’ll get to share in one of my favorite Okta memories, doing a “Scoop & Hammer” with Okta’s very own Jeremy Russell (you’ll have to register to find out what that is)!
Join Chris Sanchez and hundreds of other IT pros and register for an upcoming Okta Forum near you.
