Weighing in on How Businesses Get Work Done
A few weeks ago, we released our second edition of Businesses @ Work, a report providing an in-depth look into how today’s modern workforce stays productive. The report comprises anonymized data from thousands of apps, thousands of enterprise customers, and millions of daily authentications.
Our customers and their employees, contractors, partners and customers use Okta to login to devices, apps and services, and leverage security features to protect their sensitive data. These organizations span every industry and vary in size, from small businesses to enterprises with tens of thousands of employees. This provides us with the unique ability to see what’s happening in the cloud.
Here’s what our customers and partners had to say after reading through our findings:
“As Okta’s Businesses @ Work report shows, the workplace is rapidly adopting Cloud applications. Employees need to collaborate easily, quickly, and securely with one another, across different application services and from different mobile devices. For the two million paying businesses using Google Apps for Work, single, secure and authenticated access to all their Google and non-Google applications is key. The Google for Work and Okta partnership gives enterprises the support necessary to do their best work, securely.”
- Rahul Sood, Managing Director, Google Apps for Work
“As organizations move to the cloud, they are increasingly embracing a heterogeneous ecosystem of best-of-breed apps and services that deliver modern experiences to users. It's a revolution being led by applications in productivity, customer relationship management and collaboration -- and being supported by core platforms that centralize key assets like content and identity. Our work with Okta makes enterprise collaboration in the cloud frictionless, and Okta’s Businesses @ Work report provides a vital glimpse into the evolving modern IT stack.”
- Roger Murff, Vice President, Business Development, Box
“One thing is clear, today’s forward looking CIOs and IT leaders are choosing to embrace modern collaboration tools to deliver a more user-friendly experience to their employees. With Dropbox used in more than 8 million businesses globally, our partnership with Okta is helping IT teams provide an easier, more integrated and secure experience that users love.”
- Billy Blau, Head of Technology Partnerships, Dropbox
“As data consolidation, agility and transparency becomes increasingly important, adoption of enterprise applications that are both cloud-based and mobile continues to grow. Travel & Expense applications like Concur, along with HR apps, touch the entire organization and therefore top the list of some of the most widely utilized apps.”
- Chris Borkenhagen, Vice President of IT, Concur
