Looking Back: Okta’s 2015 Year in Review by the Numbers
We’ve watched the ball drop and toasted the new year with family and friends (and maybe a glass of bubbly). While we’re putting together our list of goals and intentions for 2016, it’s also helpful to take a look back at our accomplishments and growth over the last 365 days.
As CEO Todd McKinnon recently wrote, Okta had a tremendous 2015. Alongside 50 major product upgrades, in September we announced the launch of Adaptive MFA. And in November we held our most successful customer conference to date, with 1045 attendees traveling from around the world to attend Oktane15 in Las Vegas. Okta’s worldwide employee count grew by 46.7%, several of whom contributed to the 66 goals scored by the Okta club soccer team. We also opened two new offices — in Seattle and Benelux — bringing the total count to six. And since no office is complete without snacks, Okta employees made sure their favorites were included in the 89 snack and beverage options in our HQ kitchen.
Below we’ve compiled a visual recap of the most interesting statistics across the company, our products and our customers in 2015.
