2015 and Onward
2015 has been a tremendous year for Okta, and for the technology industry at large. While I'm proud of what we've accomplished as an organization, I'm even more excited about the success of our customers and the ways in which they're leveraging Okta to securely connect their employees, partners, customers and consumers to the tools they need. The key trends that we've staked our business on are only accelerating. Today, cloud and mobile computing is on everyone's priority list, security is more important than ever, digital business initiatives are taking off, and CIOs are in the driver's seat for all of it.
This year was filled with many milestones for Okta. From engineering to customer success to marketing (and every team in between) there were a number of significant moments for our company. We launched an entirely new Help Center and integrated Community, trained thousands of IT professionals, and hundreds of companies went live with the Okta service. We innovated our core identity management product, releasing new functionality around Universal Directory, provisioning and more. We also launched a new product — Adaptive MFA, and many more customers extended Okta to cover mobile devices with our Okta Mobility Management product. We also secured a spot as the sole leader in Gartner's IDaaS Magic Quadrant, launched our first ever Businesses at Work report, held our third customer conference Oktane in Vegas, opened up new offices in Seattle, Amsterdam, Toronto and Sweden and expanded our HQ office in San Francisco. And in case you haven't noticed, we also upleveled our look and launched a new website.
Along with our customers, we're on an incredible journey. Our vision is to enable any company to use any technology. We're helping companies like DISH Network equip employees with the very best cloud and mobile technologies possible so they can be more productive. We're helping companies like MGM Resorts realize their vision for a completely personalized customer loyalty program. And we're helping some of the biggest software companies in the world, like Adobe, build cloud-based products that are inherently secure and seamless to access for their enterprise users. Any company, any technology, for any type of user. Never has IT had such an important role in the enterprise, and it's a great honor for us to be a part of that transformation for our customers.
As we gear up for 2016, I wanted to take a minute to say Thank You for your partnership and your support. Thank you for being an inspiring community of forward-thinking, cloud-driving, IT-transforming, mobile-loving machines. Let's keep doing great things together.
Best wishes for a happy holiday season and successful 2016!
