Celebrating Okta's Customers with Oktane Awards
For all of us in enterprise technology, fall marks the beginning of “user conference season” with BoxWorks, JiveWorld and Dreamforce and our own Oktane14 just around the corner. At Oktane14, we will unveil exciting and innovative updates to our service, explore cloud best practices and discuss the impact of new trends in IT. It’s going to be an incredible event, highlighting what makes our customers successful and giving us the opportunity to celebrate the IT heroes working behind the scenes with Okta to make businesses more productive and to solve real-world challenges.
If you checked out Oktane13, you know that we recognized a few of these IT leaders with our inaugural Oktane Awards. The Awards honored an amazing group of individuals including Nate McBride at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Chris Niggel at LinkedIn, and Ben Doyle at Extreme Networks, as well as companies including Wilbur-Ellis, MGM Resorts International, Allergan and New York Public Library.
For Oktane14, we’re asking for your help in uncovering and nominating the IT leaders across our base of 1,200+ customers (more than double the 550 we had last November) that are pushing us (and our product) to make their jobs easier and their employees more productive. This year’s Oktane Customer & Partner Award categories include: IT Pioneer, Evangelist, Lightning, Atlas, Innovator, Builder, Believer and Partner. I encourage you to head over to the Oktane14 website to get a breakdown of each category and if any of them jump out to you, be sure to nominate a company, a co-worker – or maybe even yourself.
Because this is what it’s all about for us – making our customers wildly successful and allowing IT leaders to shine in their organizations. And we can’t wait to celebrate more of their successes at this year’s event.
We’re accepting submissions through Monday, September 15 on our website. Finalists will be announced October 1st October 8th, and winners will be announced onstage at Oktane in a few short months. We hope to see you there.
Thanks,
Todd
