Talking Enterprise Tech at TechCrunch Disrupt 2012 SF (#TCDisrupt)
If it wasn’t sexy before, it certainly is now. Enterprise technology is taking center stage at the upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt (September 8-12, 2012) in San Francisco — and Okta CEO Todd McKinnon will be in the mix.
Todd will be one-quarter of a panel comprised of some of the biggest names in enterprise technology: Aaron Levie (CEO and co-founder of Box), Kirk Dunn (COO of Cloudera) and Justin Rosenstein (co-founder of Asana) round out the panel.
The enterprise is a big tech story these days — and not only because of the massive amounts of money pouring in to enterprise companies. In a post on TechCrunch announcing the panel, Leena Rao said we’re witnessing an enterprise revolution:
“Between the ‘consumerization’ of applications, rapid expansion to mobile devices, and data and analytics deluge, we’re seeing the Enterprise space go through a major revolution. Companies like Cloudera, Box, Asana, and Okta are all leading the way in this new era of enterprise computing; And now’s your chance to see them onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco.”
Leena’s right. There are fundamental changes taking place in our working and personal lives (a line that’s blurring), and these changes are playing out at work in how we interact with customers and partners, our colleagues, the applications we rely on, and the devices we use to get work done.
We’ll post more details soon, but hope to see you there, either in person or as one of the 250,000+ following along on the live stream.
