That’s why we’re excited to announce this milestone: we’re simplifying branding orchestration with the General Availability (GA) of our multibrand customisations feature! Now, companies can manage multiple brand experiences from a single Okta tenant. Distinct brands for different products, business units, and apps are all in one place — no additional fees and no multi-tenancy deployments required.
This milestone is a culmination of our team’s dedication to deliver core product features for all of an organisation’s Identity use cases. Since announcing Branding and Customisations Made Easy in 2021, we’ve spent the last two years expanding on these capabilities. Using Okta’s Admin Console, APIs, and SDKs, tedious processes and developer-intensive resources are a thing of the past when it comes to managing multiple brand experiences with Okta.
For all your identity access management use cases and needs
The multibrand customisations feature gives you control over customisations while still maintaining top-notch security and least privilege access. While IT teams are often asked to do more with less, sacrificing security should never be an option. Teams can confidently delegate customisations to trusted individuals within the company or to a reputable business partner like a digital creative agency. IT teams can enable granular permissions and least privilege access with a custom admin role to specifically customise individual brands. This will free up IT bandwidth to focus on other IAM priorities and minimise risk of exposing sensitive data.
Whether expanding to add employees, collaborating with business partners, or undergoing a merger and acquisition, the new multibrand customisations feature makes it easier to manage unique brand experiences for your users. Easily orchestrate and deploy multiple brand experiences at scale
No matter how your Identity team operates, you can manage your branding and customisations with ease. With the multibrand customisations feature, you can simplify and extend your branding and customisations across multiple end-user touchpoints. This includes the ability to create and support branding for two or more of the following:
- Themes and Pages: including multiple sign-in pages, error pages, sets of emails, and brand-specific views of Okta’s end-user dashboard
- Custom domains: including Okta-managed certificate management and automated certificate renewal via Let’s Encrypt
- Email senders: including multiple email custom domains
